Another option is to hook a live fish through its lips or through its dorsal fin which is a bit difficult to hook but can go deep inside the waters to lure more fish.

Some ardent fishermen use different types of baits such as such as buzzbaits and spinnerbaits. These baits are usually used in the morning to draw more fish. Such baits are recovered more rapidly luring more fish. Crankbaits are used during afternoon as baits to attract fish from the deep waters as more fishes are found deep underwater during the hot noon and afternoons. These baits can be hooked to rods which are light or heavy according to the place, position and period of the day.
